Event timings - 11am to 3pm, BBQ starts at 12:30 at Outside Lives (parking at Aberduna Nature Reserve)

After having to cancel last month's event due to bad weather, we're pleased to announce the rescheduled date for our fantastic Sizzle & Stroll event... with some exciting additions!

The History of Here Book Launch!

We'll also be celebrating the long-awaited launch of our wonderful book 'The History of Here' - a brilliant collection of history, archaeology and legend from our local area - there will be some free copies available on the day too!

This is an event for all the family! You can purchase tickets for this event here- £5.00 for adults and £4.00 for children (under 18), dogs are welcome (but please make sure they are on leads).

The terrain for the 'stroll' is relatively flat however, sadly this is not suitable for wheelchair users.

What you can look forward to...

A printed map & audio guided 'stroll' (circa 1.5 hours) taking in some of the many stories of our local area as featured in our CADW & Welsh Government funded project, 'The History of Here'
Some light refreshments and a bite to eat from our delicious plant-based BBQ!
Heritage woodland activities for the children
A prize draw (raising much needed funds for new OL projects) - with the chance to win some great prizes (further detail to follow)
A chance to hear more about the book and maybe see some of the characters come to life!

You'll learn more about these on the walk through the materials provided.

Please note: Anyone with tickets for the previous event date, these will automatically carry over to the revised date of 18/09/21.
