Having spent most of my career to date working for large corporate businesses, my last role being Chief Operations Officer for a Financial Services business, I felt I wanted to step away from the hectic pace of life I had become accustomed to and instead, I wanted to focus my time on something that was more aligned to my own personal values.

Working for Outside Lives enables me to do just that. I sit on the Board and spend most of my time supporting all things operations to make sure we are able to work safely and effectively and importantly, to ensure that we are delivering on our values and supporting the community.

WHERE'S HOME?

I grew up in the West Midlands although my accent has faded somewhat! I now live in Maeshafn, at the foot of the Moel Findeg.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?

When I'm not working, I love to spend my time with my young children, in the garden and tending to what has become somewhat of a menagerie of animals, including horses, dogs, goats, chickens… and even some alpacas!

WHAT DO YOU GROW?

We had some good successes with the veg patch last year, particularly with Cavolo Nero. We have just set up a Polytunnel too so we'll hopefully we'll have more success with tomatoes and cucumbers this year!

WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO?

My children most of the time!! Music wise I have pretty eclectic taste but if you can sing along to it loudly it is bound to be a favourite of mine!

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE SEASON?

Winter. I love Christmas, in fact my birthday is Christmas Day!
