DESCRIPTION:

We have now found a Finance Volunteer to support our Treasurer with day to day finance responsibilities.

Dan was looking for some real, practical training in Finance and this was the rol. This is a real opportunity for Personal Progression too... as well as having our Treasurer as your mentor, we also have some funding for relevant training!

ONE-OFF OR CONTINUING:

This is a continuous volunteering role.

DATE & TIME:

We're flexible, just let us know what works best for you!

Skills needed:

It would be beneficial if you have a prior knowledge of Excel, however it's not vital.

Skills you could develop and/or training opportunities:

• An in-depth understanding of general accounting and accounting software (QuickBooks & Excel)
• Gain an understanding of project budgets and how to manage them
• Learn how to raise an invoice and send friendly reminders
• Develop other core skills, including: teamwork, communication, organisation, self confidence, people skills
